With a pleasant nutty aroma and sweet flavoured taste, groundnut oil is low in saturated fats, free from cholesterol and trans fat. It contains essential fatty acid (linoleic acid – omega-6), making it one of the healthiest cooking oil. It is one of the cooking oil with a high smoking point of 450° F making this oil suitable for high-temperature cooking methods such as stir-frying & deep-frying. Groundnut oil is high in MUFA that lowers the level of bad cholesterol (LDL) in our body without lowering the level of good cholesterol (HDL).
